Connie Silletti-Cafaro

Connie facilitates individual counseling sessions, classroom presentations and workshops on career readiness, including mock interviews plus resume and cover letter writing. She provides academic and career advising to CTE students in support of both major and career exploration. Connie partners with academic divisions to identify career paths that support students’ majors and interests in order to create custom events as well as job and internship opportunities. She is also a part of the college's JED Campus Committee.

Connie is a first generation college student who has previously worked at New York University. She has extensive experience as a Counselor, having worked with adolescents and young adults in academic settings, and with adults in the medical, social services and mental health fields. Connie considers herself a student advocate with a passion for education. She prides herself on fostering growth and development of young people by guiding them to make successful educational, personal and occupational life plans. Connie is also a Ceritified School Counselor.
