The purpose of this Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Policy is to provide services and support to Hudson County Community College (“College”) students who participate in the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program.
The College and its Board of Trustees (“Board”) are committed to promoting student
success through the EOF program. This program provides support for students who come
from financial, educational, and socio-economic backgrounds that are under-represented
in higher education. EOF supports students by providing academic, financial, cultural,
and social support to those students who exhibit the need and desire for such services.
The Board delegates to the President the responsibility to develop procedures and
guidelines for the implementation of this policy. The Office of Student Affairs shall
be responsible for implementing the procedures and guidelines developed for this policy.
