Significance: Microsoft Visio is a diagramming tool that simplifies the creation of complex flowcharts, network diagrams, floor plans, and other types of visual representations. 

Application: In construction management, Visio is used for creating process diagrams, workflow charts, and site plans. It helps in visualizing and communicating project processes, facilitating better understanding and coordination among team members. 

Students Learning Outcomes (SLO) 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: 

  • Draw flowcharts, service sheets, and field cards for water main and sewer installation projects.
  • Utilize these tools to prepare construction inspection reports.
  • Enhance job opportunities.
