A Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) assesses whether a development will adversely affect surrounding infrastructure and identifies strategies to mitigate those impacts. This course aims to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of traffic engineering and its connection to environmental impact. Students will learn to estimate the congestion and safety effects of a specific development on the surrounding transportation infrastructure.
