Types of Aid

 

We are committed to the policy that no student should be denied a college education because of limited funds. We do everything possible to help eligible students meet costs through various forms of financial assistance. To qualify for financial aid, you must complete the application process.

A grant is a form of financial aid that doesn’t have to be repaid. A variety of federal and state grants are available, including Pell Grants, FSEOG, NJ Tuition Aid Grants, CCOG Grants, and EOF Grants.

The Federal Work-Study Program allows you to earn money to pay for school by working part-time on campus.

When you receive a student loan, you are borrowing money to attend a college. You must repay the loan, as well as the interest that accrues. It is important to understand your repayment options so you can successfully repay your loan.

Scholarships are merit-based awards. They don't need to be repaid. There are thousands of them, offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations.
