Culinary Classes

We offer a diverse range of culinary classes, including but not limited to baking, gourmet cooking, international cuisines, and specialized courses like pastry making and knife skills.

The 4 main categories of classes that we offer are:

Family and Kids Culinary
Spend quality time with your family while having fun learning new skills together. Enroll your children in a class, or attend together, for an experience that will enhance their education and provide opportunities for them to shine in a healthy and supportive environment.

Friday Night Dinners
Bring your friends and learn how to prepare a fabulous meal in a fun, social environment – then enjoy your dinner together right after!

Culinary Workshops
Participate in unique culinary experiences, where you will learn about food and wine from our seasoned chefs in hands-on workshops.

Culinary Groups and Parties
Ask us how we can customize a culinary class for your next private group event. Whether for a birthday party, friendly get-together, team-building event, or other occasion, our expert chefs will tailor a special experience for you and your guests in our professional kitchens.

Our culinary classes are open to anyone passionate about cooking, whether you're a beginner or an experienced home chef. No prior culinary experience is required.

Some of our classes are tailored specifically to adults, like our Friday Night Dinners. Others are geared towards families and kids, and some are a mix of everyone!

View the schedule then choose the class you're interested in. The registration button will lead you to a page on Eventbrite, where you can register.

The duration varies depending on the specific class. Most classes are designed to be one-time sessions, while others may span multiple weeks. Check the class details for specific duration information.

All food and cooking tools will be provided to you in class. We also provide a free apron to each student that you can keep!

We recommend bringing food storage to take any food you make home.

Absolutely! Our classes cater to all skill levels, including beginners. Our experienced instructors provide step-by-step guidance to ensure that everyone can follow along and enhance their culinary skills.

If the College Cancels a Course, a full refund is issued. 

Non-attendance to a Class/Program does not constitute a withdrawal, nor entitle the participant to a refund.

Please confirm work schedules before registering for classes. Refunds and credits will not be issued due to change of work schedule. 

Culinary Class Refund Policy

All sales are final due to the limited seating in our kitchens, as well as the amount of prep time and food cost associated with each registered student.  

While we don’t offer refunds or credits, you may send someone to attend in your place. We ask that you please email us well in advance at hmirandaFREEHUDSONCOUNTYCOMMUNITYCOLLEGE so that we can be prepared for any changes to the guest list.
