In this New Jersey State Approved Certified Nurse Aide program, students will be prepared for the N.J. Department of Health and Senior Services Skills and Written Examination. The course will consist of classroom and clinical setting instruction. Typical work settings for graduates of CNA programs are primary long-term care facilities with some students securing employment in hospital acute care facilities. In addition, students will receive additional instruction in medical terminology, fundamental workplace skills, and certifications in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and Dementia Care.
