Tess Wiggins, Executive Administrative Assistant

Tess has just joined the Office of Human Resources, from the school of Nursing, and will be responsible for the development and submission of numerous correspondence and reports including Board and Committee personnel packages. She will also oversee the HR website, track the HR budget, and numerous administrative tasks within the Office of Human Resources.  She has been with HCCC since 2012, most recently as Administrative Assistant in the School of Nursing and Health Professions.  Prior to HCCC, Tess worked with several HR consulting groups. Tess holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication.

Stephanie Sergeant, Associate Director of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

In her new role, Stephanie will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process including all communications with candidates.  She will also lead our new on-boarding program to ensure new employees are set up for success at HCCC.  You will hear more about our new onboarding program, “The 100 Day Journey Home” very soon.   Stephanie has been with HCCC since 2017 and was most recently Assistant Director of Human Resources. Stephanie holds Bachelors of Arts in Economics, and is currently pursuing a MBA with a focus on Organizational Management and Leadership.

Amaalah Ogburn, Director of Faculty and Staff Development

Amaalah began her journey at HCCC in 2015 as a student and part-time employee and has since grown through several roles within the College. In her new role, she oversees employee relations practices and processes, partners with the College’s unions to support strong employee engagement and performance, and maintains HR policies and procedures, including the Employee Guide. Prior to this role, she served as the Senior Director of Faculty & Staff Development. She holds a Master’s in Public Affairs and Administration with a focus on Leadership and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Josianne Payoute, Director of Compensation and Benefits

Josie is responsible for managing and administering all employee benefits and compensation programs and processes, and ensuring HCCC remains highly competitive in our total rewards practices. Josie has been with HCCC since 2024.  Josie’s prior HR experience has been with Superior Court of NJ, Cendant Car Rental Group, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Josie holds a BA in History and Sociology and holds an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from CICA International University & Seminary.

Suhani Aggarwal, Director of HR Systems and Analytics

Suhani leads and oversees our HR systems (Ellucian) and develops and analyzes various workforce analytics to help the College make data informed decisions as we further develop our people strategies aligned to the College’s goals and mission.  She will also be responsible for automating and streamlining HR workflow practices.  Suhani has been with HCCC since 2018.  Suhani holds a Masters of Business Administration, as well as a Masters in Criminal Justice.  She also acquired an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice while at HCCC.

Kandi Ceballos, Benefits and Leaves Specialist

Kandi is now responsible for administering all employee benefit programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. She is also responsible for handling employee benefits and inquiries, and managing and coordinating all leaves of absences in accordance with company policy and applicable laws. Kandi has been with HCCC since 2024 and was most recently HR Coordinator.  Kandi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and is pursuing a MA degree in Liberal Studies.

Megha Sanghavi, HR Systems Assistant (Part Time)

Megha supports the Associate Director of HR Systems and Analytics. She has been with the College since 2018 and is responsible for HR data entry related to payroll processes, including adjunct and faculty contracts, HRIS data assistance, filing, and other administrative tasks. Megha is also a student at HCCC, pursuing a degree in Digital Art and Design, which she is expected to complete in 2026.

Bob DiMartino, Vice President of Human Resources

Bob joined HCCC in May of 2025 and is responsible for leading the Human Resources team and serving as a member of the President’s Cabinet and the President’s Advisory Council.  Over the course of Bob’s career, he has lead HR teams for a number of companies across various industries including Construction, Food and Beverage, Manufacuring, Services and Wines & Spirits.  Bob holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Juris Doctorate of Law with a focus on labor and employment.
