New Employee - Onboarding Process

To ensure a smooth onboarding process, we ask that you complete the new hire employment forms listed below.

Step 1: New Employee - Onboarding paperwork must be completed and submitted through Leapfile.

New Full Time employees must complete the following forms:

Onboarding Forms
Policies and Acknowledgement
W-4 State | PDF Instructions
W-4 Federal | PDF Instructions
I-9 Verification PDF Version | PDF Instructions
I-9 Verification Paper Version
(Self-Service Direct Deposit will be available after completing your onboarding process.)

An official transcript must be sent by your institution to the address in the signature below or emailed to hrFREEHUDSONCOUNTYCOMMUNITYCOLLEGE. If you have a foreign degree, please have an evaluation done by World Education Services.

All Onboarding Paperwork documents must be submitted through Leapfile. (Leapfile is a secure website to share confidential information or documents.)

Step 2: Book your I-9 verification/Onboarding Appointment. (Onboarding Packet must be completed and submitted prior to the appointment.)

Once all Onboarding paperwork has been received, an invite to book your I-9 verification appointment will be sent by Human Resources. All documents must be unexpired.

 

Step 3: Direct Deposit Setup and employee email setup.

Once Onboarding is complete, your direct supervisor will be informed of your official HCCC email setup.

HCCC email is required for Direct Deposit Setup. Click here for Direct Deposit Instructions.

 

Step 4: Vector Training Courses

Vector Training courses will be sent to your HCCC email address.

Courses must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.

 

Step 5: New Hire Benefits Enrollment *Onboarding Forms must be completed to receive full Benefits Access. Review HCCC Employee Benefits Offered

Enrollment must be completed within 30 days of the start date. New Hire medical benefits are effective 60 days from the start date.
