“My story is non-existent without the story of my mother. I am me because of her. She is an amazing, loving woman who has Dissociative Identity Disorder, more commonly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Join us as we share our story of persevering through the challenges of mental illness.”
Our Stories Untold storytelling emerged as a partnership between the Office of Human Resources and the President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (PACDEI). This series highlights the HCCC community members’ personal, educational, and professional experiences, advice, and insight. Each program aims to introduce some of our outstanding and influential colleagues to enhance inclusion and create community. Do you know someone with an inspirational story? Do you want to tell your story? Tell us by contacting PACDEIFREEHUDSONCOUNTYCOMMUNITYCOLLEGE.
HCCC participates in the national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day (TODAS) in the month of April. TODAS gives children the opportunity to go to work with a parent or caretaker instead of going to school for one day.
