Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution Certificate


WHAT IS THE TRANSPORTATION, LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION (TLD) PROGRAM?

This program prepares students for entry-level and advancement opportunities through certifications and degrees in supply chain management including manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, and distribution through customer service. The program of study includes Supply Chain Management Principles, Customer Service Operations, Transportation Operations, Warehousing Operations, Supply Management and Procurement, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Service Operations. Credits earned in the TLD certificate will transfer seamlessly towards the Business Administration AS Degree offered at HCCC. Additionally, dual admission agreements and articulation in effect with our current academic partners may be applied in the future to a BS in supply chain management.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

Students must complete 30 credit hours in TLD and general education course work. Course work is divided into two semesters for a total of one year of full-time study. Classes are available both day and evening, in-person, remote, and online.

Credits earned with the SCM Certificate will transfer seamlessly towards the A.S Degree in Business Administration for the Supply Chain Management degree option offered at HCCC. Additionally, dual admission agreements and articulations in effect with our current academic partners may be applied in the future to a B.S. in supply chain management.
