About HCCC's Academic Computer Labs

Our Mission is to provide quality assistance to students, faculty, and all users of the instructional and open labs in a timely manner for the supported software and hardware. By using the Academic Computer Labs, you have agreed to follow the Academic Computer Lab Rules and Regulations. Labs are staffed with trained lab assistants to help users with the operation of HCCC software and hardware. Students are encouraged to use the computer labs on a walk-in-basis. The Open Lab Schedule is posted on bulletin boards and the website.

  • Monday to Friday
    • 8:00 A.M. - 9:45 P.M.
  • Saturday and Sunday
    • 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

    • Aug. 31 - Sept. 2 Labor Day Weekend. College closed.
    • Oct. 14 Columbus Day. Classes in session.
    • Oct. 31 Diwali. No classes. College closed.
    • Nov. 5 Election Day. Classes in session.
    • Nov. 11 Veterans' Day. Classes in session.
    • Nov. 27 No classes. College Offices open.
    • Nov. 28 - Dec. 1 Thanksgiving Recess. College closed.

Usage Guidelines

  • Closing Time: All computer users must prepare to leave the open lab ten (10) minutes before closing time, and must vacate the open lab by closing time.
  • Special Needs: Students with special needs have priority at designated workstations.
  • Alumni Access: Alumni are required to show an alumni card or HCCC ID Alumni card.

visit www.hccc.edu/administration/its/help-desk-request-form-student.html from an internet-enabled computer and complete the form.

Did you know that our Academic Computer Open Labs were upgraded with scanners and iMacs?

Available Software: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Statdisk, Code::blocks, Notepad++, algebra tutorials and more. QuickBooks is available on select workstations.
STEM building only: Bloodshed/Dev C++ and Python Compiler.
